Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Animeeples LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Conocal: the app at app.conocal.com, the Conocal apps for Mac and iPhone when they ship, and this website. By creating an account or using Conocal you agree to them. Questions go to hello@conocal.com.

The beta

Conocal is in an invite-only beta. Features will change, some will break, and some may go away. It's free during the beta. If we ever charge for it, we'll tell you well in advance, and nothing you've already used becomes paid without your say-so.

Not medical or coaching advice

Conocal shows numbers worked out from your watch: training load, form, heart rate zones, plan status and the like. They're estimates, and they can be wrong. They aren't medical advice and don't replace a doctor or a coach. Check with a doctor before starting or changing a training program, and listen to your body over any number on a screen. Trail and ultra running carry real risks; you take them on yourself.

Your account

• You must be at least 16.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account.

Your data

Your training data stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Conocal for you, as the privacy policy describes. You can delete your account and its data from Settings at any time.

When you connect COROS, you also remain bound by COROS's own terms. We're not affiliated with COROS, and we can't promise their service stays available to us.

Fair use

Don't break the law with Conocal, try to get into other people's accounts or data, overload or probe the service beyond normal use, or resell access to it. We may suspend or close an account that does, and will tell you why.

Ending

You can stop using Conocal and delete your account whenever you like. We can end the beta or shut Conocal down; if we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can get a copy of your data first.

No warranty

Conocal is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted service. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose; your watch and COROS keep the originals of your activities.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Animeeples LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Conocal, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for changes that matter, email you before they take effect. Using Conocal after that means you accept the new terms.
